Pray fervently for Nigeria and her leaders’ – Abia Speaker charges members of Anglican Church

 

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji recently went to the continuous Second Session, Tenth Synod of the Anglican Church, Diocese of Umuahia, holding at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Nsukwe/Amibo Ubakala North Archdeaconry. Talking at the occasion, the Speaker saluted the whole pastorate and individuals from the Anglican Church, Diocese of Umuahia on the exceptional event of their Synod.

He encouraged the Church to keep on remaining on the way of truth consistently and experience the temperances of Christ.

While wishing them a blissful and effective consideration, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji charged them to supplicate intensely for the country and her chiefs, communicating trust that the Synod will radically work on the christian existence of the individuals. At long last the Speaker promised to liberally uphold the recreation, support and rebuilding of the imploded Cathedral’s structure at Saint Stephen’s Church, Umuahia. Appointee Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Ifeanyi Francis Uchendu, Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Chiadi Ezem, Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah, Clergymen and different dignitaries graced the occasion.
