The Chinese government has given three members of the faculty at the Department of Biochemistry at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria scholarships for the PhD programme at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China.
They are Rabiatu Bako Suleiman, Muhammad Auwal Saliu, and Idris Zubairu Sadiq.
They are among the 20 candidates from seven nations—Nigeria, Kenya, Yemen, Indonesia, Pakistan, Rwanda, and Ethiopia—who were chosen for the Chinese Government Scholarship Silk Road Program for International Students’ awardee list for 2022.
