Tobiloba Daniel and Arewa Abayomi, two Kwara State University (KWASU) Malete students, were discovered dead in a dorm room.
The 200-level students’ bodies were discovered in Daniel’s dormitory room off-campus.
“We believe they were lovers and were concerned when they disappeared for three days and during an examination.
“Some of their pals discovered them dead and naked when they arrived at their dorm room outside the school. We believe there has been poisoning.
Although the KWASU spokeswoman, Hajia Saeedat Aliyu, said there had been no official communication on the subject, the state’s police spokesman, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, acknowledged the occurrence.
Acording to the information, the police were notified after discovering the two of them dead in their chamber.
“Our officers opened the door, and they were transported for an autopsy to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH). The investigation is still ongoing.
