Significant members, stakeholders and delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, have guaranteed Senator Mao Ohuabunwa of their solidarity to his return to Senate in the 2023 general Election.
Aro Okeigbo Blog gathered that the members of PDP in bende disclosed this when the previous Leader ECOWAS Parliament talked with them on Tuesday at the Council Hall.
They welcomed him with joy and warm reception as they came out in Mass including some pageantries to welcome him and his company.
In their comments, different speakers and clan leaders of PDP in Bende, including Commissioner for Boundary Matters, Chief Godwin Ndom; previous Commissioner for Education, Chief P. C Mba; and his Housing partner, James Okpara guaranteed Ohuabunwa of the full help of Bende indigens.
Okpara said “Abia North has turned into a jeopardized region, and requires men of value for a salvage mission”.
Different political leaders including the member representing Bende South state Constituency at the House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Ndubuisi; Bende Council chief, Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa; senior legislator, Chief. A Mmeregini, among others, promised to convey Bende to PDP in 2023.
Talking prior, Senator Ohuabunwa who said he had progressed significantly with individuals of Bende, called for solidarity among PDP individuals in Abia North, encouraging not to frustrate individuals of Bende whenever he returns to the Senate.
Ohuabunwa said Abia North was a PDP region, and charged the party faithful to be dedicated to join force and rescue the zone from the resistance.
He lamented that Abia North which bragged of prepared and vocal lawmakers like Late Uche Chukwumerije, Gen. Ike Nwachukwu, and himself, had abruptly turned into a lighthearted element at the Senate.
The previous Leader, House of Representatives, requested the complete help of Bende delegates at the impending PDP primaries, exhorting them against interruptions by cash packs who have never raised a motion at the lower chamber however presently need to go to the senate.
