York University offers the Global Leader of Tomorrow Scholarships and the International Entrance Scholarships of Distinction to international students interested in a full-time undergraduate degree.

President’s International Scholarship of Excellence $180,000 (45,000)

Tentanda Via Award: $120,000 ($30,000 x 4 years).

Global Leader of Tomorrow Award: $80,000 (20,000×4 Years)

All the scholarships listed above are available to undergraduate students who complete full-time. These scholarships can be renewed for up to three years if the student has a good academic record.

York University Eligibility:

You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the Major International Scholarships.

• To study in Canada, international students must obtain a Study Permit
• You must have been accepted for an undergraduate degree program in York starting in Fall 2022
• Must have applied to York directly from high school within two years of graduating.
• Minimum of an A average in academics is required.
• Must show leadership in community service, sports excellence, or other areas.
• The high school must only make nominations.
• Nominated students are eligible for the International Entrance Scholarship of Distinction or the Global Leader of Tomorrow Award.
• Candidates should talk to their principal or school guidance counselor about the York International Student Scholarship & Award Application. They should confirm that they are the nominee from the school.
• The applicant must include the name, number, and position of the nominee on the application form
• Only one letter of recommendation can be uploaded
• All documents required must be listed as “Received” in the York application (MyFile) by January 20,22 at 1159.59 Eastern Time
• The International Student Scholarship Application must be completed and submitted online by 03/02/2022, 11:59 Eastern Time

You must apply online for the International Student Scholarship & Award Award Application Form. Within five business days of submitting your York application, you will receive a 9-digit York code.
