The International Spare Parts And Mechanic Cluster In Aba Will Boost The Economic Of Abia When In Place – Ikechukwu Emetu

Abia State Deputy Governor, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu says the International Spare Parts and Mechanic Cluster located at Ovom in Obingwa LGA when put in good shape would boost the aesthetic and economic value of commercial nerve town of Aba.

Emetu who stated this shortly after been taken round the cluster by the Regional Director of Total Value Nigeria Ltd, the Firm handling the project, pointed out that the completion of the project would decongest traffic and the menace of scattered mechanics in every nook and crannies of Aba.

The Deputy Governor who regretted that the previous dispensation that awarded the project could not effectively completion it due to their lukewarm attitude, assured that the present administration would work out modalities to salvage the cluster and ensure that the heavy flow of water at the area would be properly channeled to check the inaccessibility problem caused by flooding and poor drainage network.

He described the investment as one that should be be encouraged by any serious minded Government.

Conducting the Deputy Governor round the International Spare Parts and Mechanic Cluster, the Director of the Firm handling the project, Chief Godfrey lrogbaruwa, said the Cluster was conceptualized following the observation of scattered mechanics littered all over Aba metropolis and the need for decongesting the city, he expressed optimism that the project when fully realized would create job opportunities for the people.

Our correspondent reports that Top Government Officials and stakeholders in the mechanical sector accompanied the Deputy Governor on the inspection visit.
