The First Lady of Ekiti will inaugurate water projects funded by Bizzell Global.

The First Lady of EKITI State, Mrs. Erelu Bisi Fayemi, will dedicate two water projects on Tuesday that Bizzell Global donated to the communities of Odo Ayedun-Ekiti and Oke Ako-Ekiti, all of which are situated in the Ajoni LGA of Ekiti State.

The event will also be graced by Dr. Anton Bizzell, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bizzell Global.

According to a statement from Bizzell Global’s Damilola Oshinowo, the projects were donated as part of the company’s CSR efforts and in support of SDG Goal 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation. They were also intended to advance international cooperation and strengthen developing nations’ capacity for water and sanitation-related programmes.

“This is a huge milestone in Bizzell Global’s mission to grow our footprint of international development across Africa, the Middle East, and other regions of the world,” said Rose Khasiala Amolo, Vice President of Global Programs at Bizzell Global.

“We are happy to have collaborated with government stakeholders and the target communities to achieve these initiatives, which would have an impact on thousands of people and significantly enhance outcomes in health, the environment, and economic empowerment.”

His Royal Majesty Oba Dr. Solomon Ajibade, (Ajigbotoluwa I), the Owa of Odo Ayedun, the traditional ruler of Odo Ayedun-Ekiti, one of the beneficiary communities, expressed gratitude on behalf of the community and announced that Dr. Anton Bizzell would also receive an honorary chieftaincy title at the commissioning as a thank you for his charitable act.
