 My Mission In Politics Is To Uplift The Basics Lives Of Abians – Prof. Uche Ikonne

The Governorship Candidate of PDP in Abia State, Prof. Eleazar Uche Ikonne says he is in politics to uplift the lives of Abians and would ensure that the People’s lives are positively affected when he eventually emerges as the Governor next year. 

Prof. Uche Ikonne stated this when he received in audience, the executive members of the Unity Club International in his Umuahia residence. He said whatever business any Abian is doing would be supported by his government to boost the economy of the State and showcase Abia in the global market. 

The Governorship hopeful said that he is happy that Governor Ikpeazu has laid solid foundation for him to build upon. He said he would work with many pro groups including the Unity Club International. 

Earlier, the spokesman of the club, Barr. Ben Nwogu and the Woman leader, Obingwa Chapter Mrs. Ruth Emmanuel informed that the club which has lasted for many years has Rt. Hon. Emeka Stanley as the chief servant, adding that the club plays a participatory role in bringing out whoever that has governed Abia State. 

They expressed confident that Prof. Ikonne posseses qualities a good leader who would succeed Governor Ikpeazu is needed to have and said the club is well-grounded in 6 LGAs of Abia South while assuring that  they would support him to win the elections. They congratulated him on his emergence as the standard bearer and assured him, they would go extra mile to drum support for him.
