Amaokwe Amiyi Isikwuato reaffirmed heavy support to the Returning Senator for Abia North and the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Abia North, Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa as he continued his Ward to Ward Campaign tour alongside the Follow better Campaign Organization.
At the event which was held at Amaokwe Amiyi, Isikwuato, the Distinguished Senator noted that his intentions are not to campaign because Isikwuato is PDP and PDP is Isikwuato. He went further to urge the people of Isikwuato to persist preaching the gospel of follow better as long as their votes shall evict Ruga from Abia North.
In the Senator’s Speech, “ I thank God for my kind of personality. I am not a transactional person. I am a relational quality. And some of the people in my constituency have realized the mistake they made but have unified themselves to correct it. Today as we can see in Abia North, our women no longer go to the farm because of the rate of insecurity that has ravaged our constituency. This is the very need why we must do the needful by following “BETTER.” When we talk about representation, it involves speaking the minds of the people. We can’t have a Senator in the red Chamber while our young girls are being raped every day. It is undeniable that no matter how much you may have in the bank today, you can’t access it due to the established CBN Policy of the APC administration. Therefore, it is time we stand up for our voices to be heard again. It is time we remove the shame on our faces.”
Responding, the PDP State Woman Leader, Lolo Christy Emenike, edged the people of Isikwuato to stay consistent despite whatever adversaries may come with for deluding every meaningful inhabitant. She ensured that Isikwuato will never be forgotten if they all cast their votes for the returning Senator for Abia North. Consequently, she noted that the Legislative Enactment of the Senator prospers on his representative competence and integrity.
