In Kaduna, youths protest the ongoing terror attacks.

 .Some young people are protesting what they call “constant terror attacks” in various parts of Katsina.


On Thursday, youths marched through Shola quarters and Nacenta village near Army barracks in some parts of the state capital.

The youths bemoaned the inability of security agencies to control the excesses of bandits.

In response to the ongoing attacks by bandits in Katsina, Deputy Speaker Shehu Dalhatu Tafoki urged security agencies to rise to the occasion and take the fight to the bandits’ hideouts.

Taofoki condemned the bandits’ attacks, claiming that terrorists had taken over the entire state.

Meanwhile, the Katsina House of Assembly is scheduled to meet with state Governor Aminu Masari and President Muhammadu Buhari to discuss the state’s insecurity.

During a press conference, Ali Al-Baba, Chairman of the Katsina House of Assembly’s Information Committee, expressed the Assembly’s concern about the state’s worsening insecurity.

According to Al-Baba, the Assembly is concerned about receiving daily reports of terrorist attacks across the state.

He called the current state of insecurity unacceptable and demanded immediate action to alleviate the situation.
