The State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon.Alwell Asiforo Okere (Ph.D) has called on the PDP faithful to ignore the baseless agitations of some 15 misled young men from Ohafia LGA that stormed the Party’s Secretariat with placards calling for immediate change of leadership in the state chapter of the PDP.

Addressing hundreds of youths and women groups that paid him a solidarity visit today at the State PDP Secretariat in Umuahia, the State PDP Chairman said that the Party will continue to ensure internal democracy, promote peace and unity among members in a manner that will enable the Party and its flag bearers to recover some lost elective seats presently occupied by opposition parties in next year’s general elections.
