Four Catholic church reverend sisters are kidnapped by gunmen

 Four Reverend sisters from a Catholic church were abducted by gunmen on Sunday.


An official declaration from The Sisters of Jesus The Saviour (Generalate) revealed that the Okigwe-Umulolo section of the expressway was the location of the kidnapping of the women of God.

The religious organization’s Secretary-General, Sister Zita Ihedoro, urged all devout people to pray for the victims’ speedy and secure return.

Sisters Johannes Nwodo, Christabel Echemazu, Liberata Mbamalu, and Benita Agu have been abducted, according to the statement labelled “sad news.”

“Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we bring to your attention the kidnapping of the four of our sisters stated above with much anguish.

The unfortunate incident of their kidnapping happened this morning immediately in the Okigwe-Umulolo area.
