Atiku, Obi Wasting Time in Challenging Tinubu’s Victory – Galadima

Buba Galadima, a prominent member of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has criticized former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party for their legal challenge against President Bola Tinubu’s victory, stating that it is a waste of time.

Galadima argued that since 1979, no politician has successfully overturned the outcome of a presidential election through the courts in Nigeria. He questioned the justification for spending billions of Naira, rumored to be happening on social media, for the tribunal, suggesting that such funds could be better utilized in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

Additionally, Galadima accused Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), of undermining the will of Nigerians during the previous presidential election. He claimed that Yakubu’s actions were more severe than the alleged wrongdoings of Godwin Emefiele, the embattled Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Galadima called for the removal of the INEC chairman, asserting that Yakubu colluded with certain individuals to subvert the mandate of the Nigerian people, labeling it a grave offense.
