The former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, Professor Uche Ikonne will be buried on April 28, 2023.
He will be laid to rest in his country home, Agburuke Nsulu, Isialangwa North local government area of the state. A statement by the burial committee of the former Abia State University (ABSU) vice chancellor said a commendation service and singsong will be held in his honour by his church, St. Andrews Anglican Church Agburuke on April 24.
The committee stated that there would be a colloquium and day of tributes for him on 25th April while a valedictory/Senate session would be held for him by his former place of work, Abia State University, Uturu.
