Meet the 19-year-old Ondo monarch who just received his high school diploma.
One of Nigeria’s youngest kings is Oba Oloyede Adeyeoba Akinghare II, the Arujale Ojima of the Okeluse kingdom in Ondo State. He recently finished his secondary education.
After his father passed away in February 2019 while he was still in high school, he took the throne.
The young king or queen spoke to us about his life in school, how his royal rank allowed him to avoid punishment, the thrones of his forebears, and his future goals.
