As the 2023 elections draw nearer, players and top actors have started familiarization tours to constituents in a test of popularity and to consolidate on the existing structure and to expand members as politics is all about the number.
The Deputy leader of Arochukwu LGA today played host to PDP Stakeholders and party faithful of the three INEC Wards making up the Arochukwu kingdom which was held to sensitize his constituents on his stewardship and government plans for the people as the closest arm of government. The leader in his usual magnanimity declared his readiness to sponsor voters’ registration in a bid to boost the voting strength of the kingdom as a major decider to who wins election in Arochukwu LGA. He challenged his people to champion the sensitization of the electorates to avoid rigging which is only possible when there is voter apathy and asked the party faithfuls to lead in winning more members to the fold of PDP as the better alternative.
The leader reiterated his willingness to engage his people in fashioning a way forward through Town Hall meetings which he started immediately after his sworn-in ceremony as a councilor.
In his final speech, he asked the Ward executives to leave no stone unturned in reconciling members that are grieved and assure them that the party shall address every issue without fear of favor and assured members of a better tomorrow.
