NKPORO COMMUNITIES APPRAISE YPP GUBER CANDIDATE, lambast APC, PDP Thugs For Looting Food Items Donated To Them.

Wednesday 10th August, Engr  Enyinnaya Nwafor the frontline Guber candidate in the race for Abia State Government House paid an emergency visit to the Nkporo community affected by flash floods, Nwafor who was far away United kingdom when the natural disaster happened had sent delegates to come to the rescue of the affect communities and also promised to visit the community on his return to the state, as a promise keeper, he was on ground to visit sites and victims of the Nkporo flood disaster.

He was received by the Young Progressives Party (YPP) House of Assembly candidate Dr. Ndukwe Okpani for the Ohafia North state constituency.

Recall that  Engr. Nwafor had quickly despatched the Emergency Rescue Team of Each One Aid One Foundation in the wake of the flood disaster that affected houses and farmlands in Nkporo

The visit on Wednesday was for Nana to have an on-the-spot assessment, fulfill his promise to the Nkporo people and complement the humanitarian efforts of Each One Aid One Foundation aimed at mitigating the losses incurred by victims.

Nana asked the God people of Nkporo to come together to restore the dignity of Abia state.

Engr. Nwafor donated one million naira, two bags of wrappers and cartoons of indomie noodles to the affected communities.

Due to the activities of hired thugs of the opposition to disrupt the process which was largely peaceful till the thugs started looting the items donated, the people on ground resisted the looting of the bags of wrappers and escorted the candidate of YPP for Ohafia North state constituency out of the venue to avoid further casualties and in the wisdom of the party, they concluded not to share it the same day rather at a new location. The items donated were shared the next day except for the looted indomie noodles by APC and PDP thugs at Ukwa hall with witnesses across patty lines cheering the transparency of Hon. Okpani Ndukwe the State House of Assembly Candidate for Ohafia North Constituency.

Dr. Ndukwe thanked the Abia guber candidate for personally visiting his community and pledged that he will mobilize the people of Nkporo and Ohafia North state constituency to support Young Progressives Party and pleaded with the party to remain calm in the face of provocations as the goal is to win elections and not to make enemies

    Concerned Nkporo progressives.
