Esther Isa and Temitope Adeshina finished ninth and tenth in the women’s High Jump final, respectively.

Both athletes leapt the same height of 1.81 metres, which was insufficient for a podium finish.

Eucharia Iyiazi’s gold medal yesterday put Team Nigeria up to seventh place in the medal standings, with eight gold, three silver, and seven bronze medals.
