Hope Uzodinma Donates 30 Million To Cattle Rearers In Imo State

The Governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma has donated the amount of N30 million to individuals from the association of Onion Producers, Processors and Marketers Association, and dairy cattle traders that lost their products to punks assaults in Imo state a year ago.

 It would be recalled that two trucks of onion and dairy cattle going to Owerri were attacked by punks who trucked away all the onion and cows in the trucks.

Giving the cash to the recipients at the end of the week, the National President of the Onion of Producers, Processors and Marketers Association, Aliyu Maitasamu Isa said the amount of N10 million and N20 million was delivered to their individuals and dairy cattle traders separately.

Isa reviewed that after the assault they were welcomed by the Governor who apologized and promised to remunerate the traders.
