FEBRUARY 25 POLL: MASSIVE CROWD WELCOME SENATOR MAO OHUABUNWA AT OHAFIA, ASSURE HIM OF THIER MASSIVE VOTES.
The PDP candidate for upcoming Abia North senatorial district election, Distinguished Senator Mao Ohuabunwa received a show of love from the people of Ohafia in Ohafia LGA when he visited them to campaign for votes.
The former Senate Committee Chairman on Primary Healthcare and Communicable Diseases was very pleased with the large crowd that turned up, especially the number of youths which he described thier massive acceptance as unprecedented in Ohafia/Arochukwu political history.
Addressing the people, Senator Mao said he’s very happy that some people who made mistake during the last election has realised thier mistakes and thier are now working very hard in supporting his senatorial bid. He promised to deliver a quality representation that will change the negative narratives Abia North has witnessed within the few years he left office.
Further in his speech, he noted that the voice of Abia North has become a voice for scandal and shame due to poor representation in the Senate. He pointed out the incessant killings, kidnapping, and ravishment of the vulnerable inhabitants. He pledged that with the support of the people, he shall lead and produce quality representation in the Senate.
Addressing the Community Youths, the Senator urged the youths to remain steadfast, resilient, and brave in achieving their voice again. He went further to assure them of consistent employment and carrying all along, as long as they put their efforts over the upcoming elections.
Earlier during the tour, Follow Better as he is fondly called met with his Ohafia LGA campaign council where he inaugurated the executive members of the five(5) wards in Ohafia clan.
He applauded the members of the Campaign Council for their vitalities, capacity, and sense of responsibility to ensure that the election will flow accordingly, and on the same hand, bring back the dignity and unity of Ohafia Local Government. He charged them to put more effort so that victory will be recorded in all the polling units.
Senator Mao met with different groups during the Ohafia tour and had strategic meetings with stakeholders and some notable leaders of the community. Conclusively, there was warm and cheering support all from the people throwing their support for the Senator.
