Dr. OBINNA OKUJI OREH: THE SET MAN FOR A SET TIME!
Dr. Okuji Obinna Oreh whom I personally address as ‘UGOSINACHI OF OZUM ABAM KINGDOM), is a visionary leader and social transformation driver and an outstanding son of Abam Community, who over the years, had ensure Abam Communities maintain stability in access to critical social infrastructure and human development. Dr. Oreh over the years has ensure Abam communities are not left in the dark by providing Solar alternative, and recently, he has extended this goodwill to other families and communities across Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal Constituency.
It is very important to remember that God deals with a people, ‘one set man for a set time’. From Abraham, Moses to the time of Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; God has always use one set man per time to bring deliverance to his people. Ezekiel 22 vs 30, reads, ‘And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I have found none’. In retrospect, since the miraculous emergence of Dr. Obinna Okuji Oreh as the All-Progressive Grand Alliance – APGA Candidate for Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal Constituency election in 2023, I have been wondering what a faithful God, who must always provide redemption to his people.
Reflecting further, it is becoming clearer to us that God has invested so much on this astute son of Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal Constituency for the single task of reinventing social transformation and driving sustainable development for the constituency. As a young man God had shown him mercy, even when the devil, who knew what God had programmed for him, thought he could cut-short his life; God had preserved him, and separated him for himself for a time like this. God took him through daring experience so he can prepare him for a life of discipline and integrity, two essential qualities for visionary leadership, which is currently most scarce qualities among our political leadership. I must say we are privileged to have Dr. Oreh offering to repair and restore Arochukwu-Ohafia Federal Constituency as he has been prepared and empowered for this task.
A former Chairman of the Institute of Business Development, Abuja District; he is a seasoned professional and an expert in business development, joint ventures, corporate strategy, audit and compliance. Dr Oreh has a vast work experience spanning over twenty years. He started his career in investment banking with the Leeds Merchant Bank in 2000. He moved on to the oil and gas sector, where he has over eighteen years’ experience spanning treasury, management accounts, audit and compliance, commercial negotiations, business development and shipping. He has been privileged to work in many countries across Africa, Asia and Europe such as Ghana, Angola, Indonesia, Pakistan, Italy etc.
Dr Oreh is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the Nigerian Institute of Management. He has attended several courses from the Royal Institute of Public Administration, London United Kingdom, London Management Centre, United Kingdom, Petro Consult Energy, United Kingdom, Eni Corporate University, Rome, Italy etc. He has carried out research in stakeholder relationship management, building sustainable businesses in the face of climate change and has published articles in journals.
Dr. Oreh possess a unique blend of executive and leadership experiences to push for social reform, policy and partnership that would return Arochukwu-Ohafia on the path of progressive social and human development.
I believe his representation will be a dynamic era of change actions that will benefit Ndi Arochukwu/Ohafia constituency like never before. “He has set targets with clear timelines to ensure that anticipated deliverables are met. You can benchmark him and hold him accountable if he fails. In short, I assure you that he will deliver on all promises. What he envisions is a new Arochukwu/Ohafia constituency, repositioned to be the pride of Abia State, and indeed Nigeria.
I therefore encourage all well-meaning Ndi Arochukwu/Ohafia to join hands with me to support this noble cause. Let’s repair and restore Our Constituency Together. God bless Arochukwu/Ohafia Constituency for giving us THE SET MAN FOR A SET TIME!
