Collins Smith a frontline contender for Abia House Of Assembly elections, Arochukwu State Constituency under the platform of Young Progressive Party, YPP, has empowered Mr. Okoro Kalu Ile of Isu Community in Arochukwu Local Government.
The event which took place today, Feb. 14th 2023 at the residence of Hon. Collins saw many party members in attendance.
Speaking shortly after presenting the motorcycle to the beneficiary, Hon. Collins Smith described Mr. Okoro as one of the party faithfuls who is very much committed to the activities of the party, despite coming from a very far distance. He noted that the presence of YPP in Arochukwu Local Government will aid in ensuring that people have something doing through the means of empowerment, he promised that more are on the way coming and urged other party faithfuls to remain resolute.
He also used the medium to thank Governorship Candidate of the YPP, Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor for his support and love for the people of Arochukwu and urged candidates of other political parties to allow the Youths to taste power.
Responding to the kind gesture , the beneficiary of the empowerment, Mr. Okoro Kalu Ile, who is also Isu Community Ward Chairman of the YPP expressed joy towards the empowerment and thank Hon. Collins Smith for his benevolent gesture.
He noted that this is first of it kind since his inception into politics as he had been a member of different political parties but has never witnessed or partaken in such empowerment before.
He assured the party members of his readiness and support to deliver the party and the house of Assembly Candidate come March 11th 2023.
He thanked Hon. Collins Smith and pledged his allegiance to his political aspiration.
