ABIA GOVERNOR-ELEC DR. ALEX OTTI RETURNS UNDENGS AS LABOUR GUBER CANDIDATE IN BAYELSA.
The Abia State Governor-Elect Dr. Alex Otti has returned Mr. Eradiri U. Udengs as the winner of the governorship primary election held in Bayelsa state.
Eradiri U. Udengs was returned as winner of the primary election and was handed the Labour Party flag for the governorship election after he polled 79 out of the 105 votes in the election that bore the same trademark of transparency as witnessed in Imo State.
The ex bank Chief used the occasion of his LP official assignment in Bayelsa to visit the Bayelsa State Government House where he paid a courtesy visit on the state governor, His Excellency, Governor Douye Diri.
The Abia Governor-elect was accompanied on the visit by Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, a former governorship candidate in Anambra state and Special Adviser on Technology and Strategic Alliances to the LP Presidential candidate Mr. Peter Obi.
It would be recalled that just yesterday, Dr. Otti chaired the conduct of the Imo governorship primary election that produced Senator Athan Achonu as the LP governorship candidate, an election that has been widely hailed as free, fair and transparent.
