House of Representative Candidate Dr Okuji Obinna Oreh promises to prioritize women, youth empowerment
House of Representative Candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Dr Okuji Obinna Oreh has pledged to prioritize youth and women empowerment, if elected in 2023.
Speaking during the interactive session with Nwamara Movement Ihechiowa chapter, the house of representative hopeful promised to reverse the increasingly worrisome socio-economic hardships in communities in the Constituency.
The economist, philanthropist and politician promised to achieve such through motivating and boosting the capacities of youth and women to help them realize their purpose in life.
He said one of his first activities as member of parliament would be the sponsorship of skills acquisition bill and empowerment of the youth and women.
According to him, the poor rating of the state in the unemployment, misery and poverty charts should be redressed through vigorous job creation.
The candidate Dr Okuji Oreh thanked APGA members and Nwamara movement Ihechiowa Chapter for trusting him with the ticket of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and promised to reciprocate the gesture by being a good representative and being loyal to the people of the constituents.
He also urged Ihechiowa people and Nwamara Movement ihechiowa chapter to remain unwavering in their support for him.
Dr Okuji Oreh applauded Nwamara Movement ihechiowa Chapter for turning up enmasse to welcome him and given him the opportunity to interact with them about his agenda for good governance, saying it is a demonstration of people power and resolve to sink the culture of impunity in the constituency .
Dr Okuji Oreh said his administration will cater for the needs of the constituents both men, women, youth and children.
“Party faithfuls and others took turns to express solidarity with Dr Okuji Oreh Candidacy.
He enjoined his supporters to remain firm in the collective quest of masterminding a ballot revolution in 2023.
