Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has expressed his commitment to establishing strong collaboration with the newly-inaugurated members of the tenth National Assembly. His primary objective is to foster unity within the state, transcending party affiliations, and ensuring that the benefits of democracy reach every citizen.
In a statement released by Ferdinand Ekeoma, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Governor Otti congratulated the recently elected principal officers of the Nigerian Senate and the House of Representatives. He urged the federal lawmakers from Abia State to prioritize the interests of the state over personal ambitions or gains.
Governor Otti restated his administration’s promise to provide support to the federal lawmakers. He extended his congratulations to Hon Benjamin Kalu, the representative of Bende federal constituency, on his recent appointment as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Furthermore, Otti emphasized his commitment to offering each member of the National Assembly the necessary support and cooperation required for their success in their respective roles.
