Obidients, or supporters of Peter Obi, are celebrating the rousing welcome given to the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, who attended the ongoing convention at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG Camp for the first time on Friday night.
The Redemption City, formerly known as Redemption Camp, in Mowe, Ogun State, is hosting the 70th Convention, which began earlier this week.
According to a video that is currently trending on social media, Obi’s introduction at the church was met with loud cheers from attendees of the ‘Perfect Jubilee’ event.
As the congregation applauded, the lady (name withheld) who introduced Obi said, “It’s Jesus we’re celebrating.”
This comes just two weeks after he received a standing ovation at Abuja’s Dunamis International Gospel Center.
