Prior to starting her journey, Mercy Chinwo started singing at the age of eight, first in the adult choir and later in the children’s chorus at her church.

She wins the Gospel Artiste of the Year award at the AFRIMMA Awards in 2020.

Mercy Chinwo wed her devoted spouse, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa of Water Brooks Church, on August 13, 2022. The pair had their traditinal wedding in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the day before to this.
