Tekno, a gifted Afrobeat singer and lyricist, is right now counting his blessings that he doesn’t smoke weed.

The Nigerian musician who lives in the US stated in a widely shared InstaStory post that the first night after quitting smoking was a little difficult to sleep but that “I have stayed 24 hours without the drug.”

“These are my first twenty-four hours without cannabis, marijuana, weed, or whatever you want to call it. The first night was a little difficult for sleep, but there are still 24 hours. I am about to complete another 24 hours of my 30-day attempt to quit using marijuana.

“At the conclusion of these 30 days, I’ll determine whether or not I want to continue smoking.”
