Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency have come a long way since the creation of Abia state. Leaders/Representatives of various shade-from the good, the bad and down right tyrant have come and gone. But unfortunately, the leadership pendulum had kept swinging from left to right.
It is really worrisome that despite the Abundant human resources the constituency is blessed with, yet she has not live up to the expectations and aspirations of the citizens, what a shame? The scripture says when the righteous man ascend to the throne, the people rejoice and vice versa.
DR. OKUJI OBINNA OREH’S declaration to vie for the post of Honourable member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly is apt, progressive and definitely a breadth of fresh air. He has a vivid mission/vision for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and also a clear understanding on how to go about it. The young, dynamic, visionary, pragmatic and ever smiling gentle man want to be our representative in the National Assembly so as to put to a stop the continued mismanagement of our collective resources through bad governance perpetrated by our inept and clueless representative.
I want to emphatically state that our problem in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency is not lack of funds but total mismanagement of funds.The people that found themselves in positions of leadership in the Federal constituency have failed to apply available funds judiciously to create wealth for the Federal constituency and the citizens. Rather, they appropriate the funds to themselves in various unimaginable ways while majority of us continue to wallow in abject poverty.
Even those who are suppose to speak out are often lured into same dirty and corrupt practices to the detriment of the Federal Constituency. We must come together as a people and put to a stop all these greedy, selfish, clueless and opportunist representation so that Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency can take her rightful place politically, economically and socially not only here in the country but globally. DR. OKUJI OBINNA OREH is the man for the job come 2023.
