The curfew will prohibit all vehicle movement, as well as the closing of all cinemas, bars, and restaurants, as well as all other activities in Karu LGA.

In a statement signed by the Chairman’s Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Publicity, Mr Danbaba Magaji, and made available to Journalists in Karu, the chairman said the curfew became necessary for the council to take a holistic approach to curb and checkmate the security threat in the area.
